This Policy explains what personal data we collect from website visitors and business contacts, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data protection law.

2.1A Our Data Protection Principles

We handle personal data in line with the core principles of the GDPR:

  • Lawfulness, fairness, and transparency — we process data on a valid legal basis and explain how we use it.
  • Purpose limitation — we use data only for the purposes described in this Policy.
  • Data minimisation — we collect only what is necessary for those purposes.
  • Accuracy — we take reasonable steps to keep data accurate and up to date.
  • Storage limitation — we retain data only as long as necessary (see Section 2.6).
  • Integrity and confidentiality — we apply appropriate security measures (see Section 2.10).
  • Accountability — we can demonstrate compliance with these principles on request.
  • HubSpot, Inc. — our website, CRM, and marketing platform (form submissions, email, analytics). HubSpot processes data under its own Data Processing Agreement, which Countagen has accepted as a HubSpot customer.
  • Analytics and advertising platforms (e.g., Google, LinkedIn) — to the extent enabled on the Site; see Cookie Policy for the current list.
  • IT and email infrastructure providers supporting Countagen's operations.
  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate data;
  • Request erasure of your data, subject to legal exceptions;
  • Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
  • Request data portability, where applicable;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing;
  • Lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), www.imy.se, or your local EU supervisory authority.
